at your chiropractors is owned and run by me, Urs Wuethrich.
After many years working in technical communication I wanted to do a job where in the evening I can say “I have done something useful today”. I wanted to do something that makes a positive difference to the world around me. Being a chiropractor enables me to do just that.
I graduated from the McTimoney College of Chiropractic in Abingdon with a Masters degree (MChiro). I’m also qualified in several additional treatment techniques such as Acupuncture, Soft Tissue Release and Positional Release Technique, and I’m a qualified Dorn practitioner.
I enjoy working with individuals and like the challenge of finding out what is going on, how a situation arose in the first place, and how I can improve the person’s situation.
I view the kind of chiropractic that I practise as a versatile medical discipline that allows me to improve my customers’ well-being without introducing side-effects.
The World Health Organization defines health as the “state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being”. So the purpose of any medical intervention would be to improve someone’s physical and/or mental and/or social well-being. I fully subscribe to this.
As a chiropractor who is registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC), I must satisfy their requirements for continuous professional development.
